  14.   I found an interesting incompatibility with Lightwave and
  15. the PD program IPREFS (part of the Magic Workbench program).
  16. If you have IPREFS running, and run Lightwave, you may crash
  17. your machine.  
  18.  
  19.   If IPREFS is running, start LW.  Go to the SURFACES menu, and
  20. try to change the surface color.  If you look at your preview
  21. monitor, you'll notice that you no longer get any color on it--
  22. just a B&W screen.  If you adjust the default grey color to
  23. the bottom slider all the way left and then mess with the top
  24. slider, your preview screen will "wig" out and the machine
  25. may lock.

  27.   This has only been tested and repeated on a 4000 with a 
  28. Toaster installed.  Newtek tech support had never heard of
  29. this, but was going to "look into it".  I can repeat it on
  30. different Toaster boards, everytime.
